"Le Port de La Rochelle" is a landscape by the French Neo-Impressionist painter Paul Signac, painted in 1915. It is part of the collection of the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Nancy, France. The picture was painted by Paul Signac in 1915. It was exhibited in the oldest art gallery in Paris, the Galerie Bernheim Jeune. It then entered the Impressionist and Neo-Impressionist collections of the shipowner and collector Henri Galileo (1875-1937) of Le Havre. In 1965, the painting entered the collection of the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Nancy, following a bequest from Galileo's widow. The painting was part of a collection of 117 works, including six sculptures, bequeathed to the museum by Galileo's widow, who died in 1963, in accordance with her husband's wishes. On 24 May 2018, the painting was cut out of its frame and stolen. Less than a year later, it was found in Ukraine. The painting was discovered by Ukrainian police at the home of a man also suspected of the jeweller's murder, after police "received information that a group of people were looking for buyers for paintings stolen in Europe last year". As well as the Port La Rochelle, several other stolen works of art were found at the site. On 23 April 2019, the painting was handed over by the Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov to the French Ambassador in Kiev Isabelle Dumont.
