Hommage à Delacroix is a painting by Henri Fantin-Latour, painted in 1864 and exhibited at the Salon of the same year. It is now in the Musée d'Orsay in Paris. It is one of four works by this painter, who depicted artistic personalities of his time as a group in manifesto paintings. Hommage à Delacroix is the first in this series. It was on the occasion of the painter's funeral that Fantin-Latour, shocked by the thinness of the procession he had followed in the company of Baudelaire and Manet, decided to paint a public tribute in which he depicted a group of ten personalities from the arts and letters claiming their admiration for Delacroix, grouped together in front of a portrait of the master who had died the previous year.
