Hendrik Hondius I, known as well with the following name Hendrik Hondius le Vieux, is a draughtsman born in 1573 in Duffel, Belgium and who died in 1649 in The Hague, Netherlands. Hendrik Hondius I belonged to the map art style. He mainly worked during the classical period in the 17 century.
