Jozef Mehoffer, known as well with the following name Josef Mehofer, is a poster artist born in 1869 in Wadowice, Poland and who died in 1946 in Wadowice, Poland. He mainly worked during the modern period in the 20 century.

Jozef Mehoffer : his life as an artist

Jozef Mehoffer began his artist training in Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, Kraków, Poland. Then Jozef Mehoffer continue his training and study with Jan Matejko. He became friend or had a working relationship with Stanisław Wyspiański, Jan Matejko. Among his students and apprentices, we noted that he taught Alfred Krupa.
