Abraham Ortelius, known as well with the following name Abrahamus Ortelius, is a draughtsman born in 1527 in Antwerp, Belgium and who died in 1598 in Antwerp, Belgium. Abraham Ortelius belonged to the map art style. He mainly worked during the classical period in the 16 century.
