Kristina Sereikaite was born in Radviliskis, Lithuania, in 1980.
A graduate of the Advanced School of Photography in Vilnius, she is a Lithuanian photographer and cinematographer. Her love for the art led her to pick up a camera at an early age and to capture, with her trained eye, the incredibly rich landscape before her. In 2005, Sereikaite won the photographic competition in honour of Robert Doisneau organised by the French Cultural Centre and subsequently took part in several collective exhibitions in France, the United States and Mexico. Her narrative and mystical photographs depict mysterious and haunting scenes. A genuinely passionate artist, Serekaite fills her photographs with sonorous images, providing a glimpse of a silence that is heavy, through rustling or horrified screams.
