Lorenz Oken, known as well with the following name Lorenz Ockenfuss, is a swiss poster artist born in 1779 in Offenburg, Germany and who died in 1851 in Zürich, Switzerland. Lorenz Oken belonged to the encyclopedic plate art style. He mainly worked during the classical period in the 19 century.
