Accord réciproque is a painting produced by the painter Vassily Kandinsky in 1942. This oil and Ripolin painting is kept at the Musée National d'Art Moderne in Paris.
According to the artist's handwritten catalogue, Accord réciproque was painted in January-February 1942. Preceded by a number of preparatory studies, it was the painter's penultimate work on canvas.
When her husband died in December 1944, Nina Kandinsky had his remains placed in an open coffin in the studio, surrounded by two paintings: Accord réciproque and Mouvement I (1935). Photographer Rogi André was commissioned by Jeanne Bucher to take several shots of the scene.
