Chasse au faucon en Algérie
Falcon hunting in Algeria: the kill, is an Orientalist painting by Eugène Fromentin, held at the Musée d'Orsay.
The painting is signed lower right: "Eug. Fromentin". It is 1.62 m high and 1.16 m wide.

The falcon held in the fist on the left in this painting was taken up by Fromentin in a later watercolour.
This is one of Fromentin's most popular and famous paintings. It is reputed to showcase all the artist's qualities: harmony of tone and distinction of style.
