Globe of the Earth circled by a band containing signs of the Zodiac, 1660. The orbits of the planets according to the Ptolemaic System are also depicted. Surrounding the map, angels and cherubs are seen in the top corners, while astronomers and other scholars are portrayed in the bottom corners.
