Annibale Carracci canvas prints & artprints

Annibale Carracci (1560-1609) was an Italian artist and leader of the Baroque movement. With his development of the Baroque style, along with many other artists of his time, he aimed to revitalise classical forms to create a new, dynamic style of monumentality. He saw great success in his hometown of Bologna, which led to commissions elsewhere in Italy, such as the Palazzo Farnese frescoes in Rome (1595).
