Joan Blaeu, known as well with the following name Johan Blaeu, is a dutch draughtsman born in 1596 in Alkmaar, Netherlands and who died in 1673 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Joan Blaeu belonged to the map, classical print & engraving art style. He mainly worked during the classical period in the 17 century.
