Vassili Polenov, known as well with the following name Vasili Dimitrievitch Polenov, is a russian painter born in 1844 in Saint Petersburg, Russia and who died in 1927 in Polenovo, Russia. Vassili Polenov belonged to the realism, orientalism art style. He mainly worked during the modern period in the 19 century.
