The advertising poster was designed as an information medium. This visual communication tool aims to draw consumers' attention to a particular message. Whether it is clothing, household products or everyday supplies, posters provide visibility for companies. The message is clear, usually illustrated by a picture or a caricature. The advertising poster contains far more illustrations than text, so that it can be understood at first glance. Sometimes inspired by political acts, it does not concern itself with ridiculing great men, thus attracting public sympathy.
