How and when will I be refunded?
If the returned product is in its original condition, the maximum delay is 30 days from the date of receipt of the product by Muzéo. Refunds will be made by bank transfer.

Where do the images come from?
In order to offer you the finest works from our artistic heritage, Muzéo works with a number of different partners: the French Assembly of National Museums (RMN), the French National Library (BNF), specialist agencies such as Getty and Bridgeman, as well as directly with some artists or through ADAGP (the French society for the collection of copyright in the world of visual arts). Muzéo aims to make the treasures of our cultural heritage accessible to the general public. We are constantly seeking new partnerships with contemporary artists or image banks. How are the artists and rights holders remunerated?
For every sale, Muzéo pays a fixed percentage to the artist or rights holders. Copyright is included in our sales price. Muzéo manages the entire rights collecting process. Muzéo guarantees that the use of every image is carried out transparently, in accordance with reproduction rights and copyright. Please note: rights negotiated with artists or rights holders are strictly fixed and limited to a right of private use. All rights of representation and reproduction are excluded in their entirety.

Which art print should I choose?
Different media are available for every image selected. They each have different properties and effects. Choose the medium and frame that is right for you. To view all our media and their characteristics, please click here. ici.

What do "open edition" and "limited edition" mean?
The majority of the artworks offered by Muzéo are open edition, meaning that Muzéo has the right to print the images in unlimited numbers (on condition of honouring rights for every print). However, another category of art works does exist: Muzéo limited editions. These are photographs by contemporary artists that have been printed in a limited number at the request of the artist.

Why is this done?
Every photographer is selected by the committee of experts in accordance with exacting artistic criteria. The artist offers Muzéo the opportunity to use his or her original works and fixes a number of prints (up to 100) for limited editions. In exceptional circumstances, the artist may agree to increase the print number of certain works in order to allow the Muzéo's customers to benefit from advantageous rates. Once the number of prints has been reached, Muzéo withdraws the limited edition from sale. If you have fallen in love with one of Muzéo's limited edition pieces, it would be a shame to resist temptation for too long…

I'm an artist, how do I work with Muzéo?

What is ARTrust?
Once your artwork has been completed, our studio sticks an ARTrust seal to the back of the work and registers it immediately in the ARTrust database.

Giving a Muzéo product as a gift?
Nothing could be simpler! Just specify a different delivery and billing address. Muzéo product packaging has also been specially designed to be used as gift wrapping.

Are payments secure?
As an e-retailer, payment security is one of our key concerns.
For every banking transaction (bank card, Visa, MasterCard) the banking transaction is processed and secured by Mercanet, the BNP PARIBAS payment platform.
Bank card payments are only processed through BNP's secure servers. Muzéo never has access to your bank details. In addition, all information is accredited using the SSL protocol and cannot be intercepted or modified. We also accept payment by:
• Paypal
• cheque (made payable to Muzeweb)
• bank transfer

For payment by cheque or bank transfer, production of your artwork will not begin until the cheque or transfer has been received, which usually adds a few days to the order processing time. Our bank details will be shown as you complete payment of your order.

I need an invoice, where can I get one?
Your invoice will be included in your order confirmation email. You can also access it at any time in printable PDF format in "My Account" on the "My Orders" page.

I cannot place an order.

Why do I need to open an account?
Creating a Muzéo.com firstly allows you to place an order but that's not all! You can also:
• Track the status of your order
• Create your own collection and share it
• Place an order without having to enter your details every time you make a purchase
• Manage your subscription to the newsletter and choose topics that interest you

Why should I use my Facebook account?
Using your Facebook account when creating an account makes signing up much faster.
It also means you don't have to memorise a passwords or other login details.
Finally it also allows you to easily share the artworks you love, your collections and those of others.

What happens if I forget my password?
Don't worry. If you forget your password, simply click on "I've forgotten my password" on the login page and we will send an email to the address linked to your account.

What about protecting personal data?
Muzéo is committed to protecting the privacy of its visitors and customers. Your personal information will never be disclosed to third parties without your agreement.
