Abel de Pujol began his artist training in Beaux-Arts de Paris, France. Then Abel de Pujol continue his training and study with Jacques-Louis David. Abel de Pujol and Adrienne Grandpierre-Deverzy are related and belong to the same family of artists. He influenced the work of some other artists such as Gustave Guillaumet.
