Pontormo, known as well with the following name Jacopo Carcao da Pontormo, is a italian draughtsman born in 1494 in Empoli, Italy and who died in 1557 in Florence, Italy. Pontormo belonged to the mannerism art style. He mainly worked during the renaissance period in the 16 century.
