The Canal Saint-Martin is a painting by Alfred Sisley, which is part of the Musée d'Orsay collections. It was previously on the 2nd floor in section 30 (Caillebotte-Degas-Morisot-Whistler)"; since 2011 it has been on the 5th floor, in room 30. The painting was acquired in 1907 through a donation from Étienne Moreau-Nélaton. Sisley is said to have chosen the canal as the subject of a series of 4 canvases because it was an industrial infrastructure and he was close to it ;" Canal Saint-Martin is a painting by Alfred Sisley, which is part of the Musée d'Orsay collections.
