The Camel in a Landscape of Rhythmic Trees (German: Kamel in rhythmischer Baumlandschaft) is an oil painting produced by the Swiss-German painter Paul Klee in 1920. Camel in a Landscape of Rhythmic Trees is one of Paul Klee's earliest oil paintings and is typical of the artist's interest in colour theory, drawing technique and musicality. It is also one of the many images in Western art that use camels as objects. The previous year, 1919, Paul Klee had produced another oil painting of camels, entitled Two Camels and a Donkey.
The composition of the painting is based on horizontal bands superimposed by a large number of circular shapes.
