Keystone France, founded 1927 by Alexandre Garai, is a French subsidiary of the American press photographic agency Keystone View Company, founded in 1917. Keystone is a true international network, registered in several cities such as Paris, Berlin, London, Vienna, New York, Sao Paulo... In 2005, Keystone France merged with Hachette Filipacci Photos (Lagardère Group). The background was first released by the Eyedea Group and is now released by Gamma-Rapho and Getty Images.

Keystone has a background of more than 15 million photographs of celebrities and varied periods such as wars and the Roaring Twenties, or the 50s, 60s and 70s.
