Ram de flors en una llotja (Bouquet in a Garden) is a 40 × 51 cm painting by Pierre-Auguste Renoir housed in the Musée de l'Orangerie in Paris. Like Manet and Degas, Renoir was interested in the world of show business. However, he focused not on the stage, but on the spectators, in whom he found motifs of modern life, worldliness, costumes and the novel effects of artificial lighting. The rolled theatre ram, wrapped in white paper, which we see here on an armchair, was a frequent accessory of the elegant spectator. The plot is only suggested by the side lighting of the stage and the outline of a barana on the right. The boldness of the elliptical arrangement makes this still life an exception in Renoir's work.
