Raphael

Raphael (Rafael Sanzo da Urbino, 1483-1520) was an Italian painter and architect. Alongside Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci he made up the trinity of great masters of the High Renaissance. 

Despite his death aged only 37, Raphael left behind a large body of work, , most of which is kept at the Vatican palace in Rome.
